  1. The Last Monster Hunter really surprised me with its ending. I was expecting something like the Monster Hunter himself to be the werewolf, or maybe the werewolf would be someone he knew, like his father. But protecting the werewolf because it was an endangered species was either a good joke or a wry commentary on the protection of endangered species in general.

    Are all species worth protecting at all costs? And sure, humans have caused the extinction or near extinction of some species, but plenty of other species died out long before humans came around. If we could recreate extinct species "Jurassic Park" style, should we?
